Check Out “The Brothers Shreve” Live at Rogue Pizza Company This Saturday, March 17th

The Brothers Shreve

St. Patrick’s day is one of my favorite holidays. Not just because of my Irish lineage or my fondness for whiskey and dark, heavy beer, but because its one of the best holidays to catch some of the loudest, rowdiest, most exhilarating local pub shows. While New Years Eve gets to boast about its multi-million dollar live concerts and grammy-winning, double-platinum pop icons, St. Patricks Day gets the grungy, unpolished, garage-rock prodigies–gritty, authentic, loud music.

In keeping with my argument above, I’d encourage all of our readers to dive into your local music scenes this week. If you’re in Fayetteville, AR like us, check out the “The Brothers Shreve” live at Rogue Pizza Company for the annual St. Patty’s Day Party or if you’re in Phoenix, AZ catch our good friends from Motortrain at The Blooze Bar. In any case, celebrate with your local musicians and explore what your town has to offer.

Also, don’t forget to let us know about your St. Patty’s Day concert-going experience. Share the names of your favorite local bands or nominate them to be a PRN STAR (a brand new feature coming soon to Pure Rock News) by leaving your comments below.
