Britney Spears’ Reaction When She First Saw Iggy Azalea: ‘I Was A Kid In A Candy Store’
It’s been more than three months since we found out that Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea hit the studio together.
Three long months of waiting … patiently.
While we still don’t know when we’ll hear this “amazing” collaboration — rumors spread that it might be the lead single off Brit’s next album, due out this year — we finally know how it came together. Brit spoke with “Extra” correspondent and former “Jersey Shore” star DJ Pauly D about the moment she fell for the hip-hop star
“I saw her song on TV and I was like a kid in a candy store,” she said. “I was like, ‘I love Iggy, I love that video, I want to work with her.’ And it was really weird, because a week after that her manager was like, ‘She’s a huge fan of yours.’ I was like, ‘Let’s do something together,’ so it worked out.”
Few details are known about the track, but Iggy did set the record straight back in December about the song’s title and how it will not sound like her “Booty” collaboration with Jennifer Lopez.
